LAYERFORGE FAQ

Know what happens
before we make it.

Clear answers about custom design, estimates, payment, production and delivery.

01Do I pay when I submit a request?+

No. Website submissions are requests for review. LayerForge confirms the design, shipping, applicable tax and final total before sending payment instructions.

02How long does a custom order take?+

Typical production guidance is 7–15 business days after design approval and payment. Material availability, quantity and complexity can change the schedule, so your exact date is confirmed before payment.

03Can I upload my own logo or artwork?+

Yes. The Design Studio accepts JPG, PNG, WEBP, SVG and PDF files up to 10 MB. Low-resolution art may need cleanup or vector conversion before production.

04Will I see a proof first?+

Projects that require layout confirmation can move through proof-ready and approval stages in your private project portal before production begins.

05How do I track my request?+

Use the private link shown after submission or enter your LF request number and order email on the Track Order page.

06Can LayerForge make something not shown in the shop?+

Yes. Choose Custom Laser Engraving or Custom 3D Printing in the Design Studio and describe the dimensions, material, quantity, intended use and deadline.

07Do you ship outside California?+

LayerForge is based in California and ships across the United States. Shipping cost and availability are confirmed with the final quote.

08Are custom items returnable?+

Personalized items usually cannot be returned for a change of mind. If an item arrives damaged or differs materially from the approved design, contact LayerForge promptly so the issue can be reviewed.

09Can I reorder a past project?+

Yes. Open the original private project portal and choose Start a reorder, or begin a new Studio brief and include the previous LF request number.
